Job Title : Print Production Planner
Location : Zeeland, MI (On- Site)
Job Type : Full Time/ Direct Hire
The Print Production Planner applies a strong understanding of print and packaging processes to develop accurate impositions, evaluate proofs, and support packaging and dieline development. This position works cross-functionally with production, prepress, purchasing, and external partners to identify workflow efficiencies, manage inventory and purchase orders, and support cost-effective production outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach to quality and execution.
Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in a printing related field OR 5+ years of proven experience in print production planning or a related role within the commercial printing industry is ideal.
Strong knowledge of printing and bindery techniques, prepress workflows, and press layout design principles.
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating between departments and clients.
