nCompensation Range
nHourly: $21.36 - $27.60 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

nEssential Functions
nnnManage portfolio of client relationships for 1-3 Private Bankers
n
nnProvide a superior client experience by completing tasks, resolving issues, and following up in a timely manner
n
nnWork closely with assigned Private Banker(s) to build a strong channel of communication
n
nnPrepare client presentations and participate in joint calls when necessary
n
nnAssist in processing loans and scheduling closings
n
nnCommunicate directly with clients to complete service needs and document conversation in the CRM (Quest)
n
nnWork with the Private Banker(s) to ensure CRM (Quest) records are kept up-to-date
n
nnIdentify new clients and sales opportunities through client support and networking
n
nnSupport other client associates by communicating effectively and providing coverage
n
nnPerform other duties as assigned
n
n nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
nnnKnowledge of general banking services and products, with emphasis on lending and deposit products
n
nnDemonstrated customer contact and communication skills
n
nnProficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation required, familiarity with contact management software and data base management helpful
n
nnGood organizational skills
n
nnMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
n
nnInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
n
nnAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
n
nnIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
n
n nEducation & Experience
nnnHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
n
nn2+ years retail or commercial banking experience preferred
n
nnExperience with Commerce internal systems preferred (Salesforce, Quest, Teller Connections, Shaw, Branch Connections, Encompass, Blend)
n
n nFor this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report .

This compensation range is for the Private Banking Client Associate I & II job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $21.36 to $27.60 per hour. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
