nOur office is in Draper Ut, but we provide services throughout the State of Utah. Clients are in the Monticello/Blanding Utah area.
nJob Summary
nPerforms skilled nursing functions in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and
nwithin the guidelines of professional standards and the Nurse Practice Act. All nursing services provided will be under the direction of medical practitioner (MD, DO, NP, PA, etc.) orders.
nReports To: Clinical Supervisor Provides Supervision To: NA – No supervision responsibilities
nResponsibilities
nProvides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
nProvides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
nMaintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
nThe scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
nWorks collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
nPromotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
nPerforms job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.
nParticipates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
nPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
nQualifications
nGraduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
nCurrent license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of operation.
nCurrent CPR certification.
nDemonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
nLicensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.
