nAbout the Role & Company: First Day Homecare® is a leading homecare provider with locations across the US, specializing in pediatric and adult Private Duty Nursing services and other home and community-based care. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurses (RN) to provide one-on-one care to an adult client in their home in the St.Peter/Mankato, MN area. As a Private Duty Nurse, you’ll deliver individualized nursing care in a home setting, helping medically fragile patients thrive in their daily lives while offering critical support to their families.

nOVERNIGHTS, Full or Part-time hours available

nPay:

nRN: $37-$40

nResponsibilities:

nProvides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.

nProvides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.

nMaintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.

nThe scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.

nWorks collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.

nPromotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.

nPerforms job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.

nParticipates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.

nPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.

nAbout You:

nGraduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

nCurrent license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of Minnesota.

nCurrent CPR certification.

nDemonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

nLicensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements
