We're partnered with a well-established Columbus-based PE firm adding an Associate to their investment team. They've been in the market for over 25 years, have a strong track record across multiple funds, and are known for providing flexible capital to lower middle market companies without getting in management's way post-close.
Key Responsibilities:
Build financial models and investment return analyses
Run investment banking style analysis on portfolio companies to assess performance and sale readiness
Work directly with management teams on operational and strategic improvements
Support due diligence and transaction execution on both exits and new acquisitions
Prepare presentations and investment memorandums for the investment committee
Source and evaluate new investment opportunities as capital is redeployed
What They're Looking For:
2-4 years in PE, investment banking, commercial banking, private credit, business valuation, or transaction advisory
Strong financial modeling skills and analytical instincts
Solid accounting and finance fundamentals
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once without losing the thread
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
