Job description
A growing private equity firm in St. Louis is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing private equity investments.
Qualifications:
1–4 years of direct experience in private equity, or investment banking, with a focus on industrials or manufacturing deals.
Relevant ties to St. Louis or the broader Missouri area are required.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial modeling, company valuations, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
Support deal sourcing initiatives and assist in evaluating new investment prospects across various industries.
Collaborate with senior team members on transaction structuring, investment memoranda, and presentations for investment committees.
Monitor portfolio companies, analyze performance metrics, and assist in strategic initiatives to drive growth and operational improvements.
Participate in ad hoc strategic projects and market research to support business development and investment strategies.
