Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with over three years of experience to join their Private Equity Group in Boston. The candidate will work collaboratively in teams and independently manage transaction components, focusing on asset management M&A.
Duties
Collaborate with teams and manage transaction components independently
Focus on GP stakes transactions within asset management M&A
Handle corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions
Engage in leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, and venture capital transactions
Manage equity compensation and exits
Maintain strong client and counsel relationships
Requirements
Over three years of relevant experience
Strong business sense and proactive approach
Stellar communication skills
Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in Boston
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Certifications
Bar admission in the resident office's location
Skills
Experience in asset management M&A
Ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively
