Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Junior Associate to join its Private Equity group in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in private M&A and growth equity transactions, with a foundational understanding of the diligence process and related workstreams.
Duties
Assist in managing private M&A and growth equity transactions.
Organize and oversee the signing and closing processes.
Communicate effectively with internal and external clients and counsel.
Exercise sound judgment in all legal matters.
Requirements
Outstanding academic credentials.
Experience in a comparable law firm.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
Submission of a deal sheet.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
Skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proactive communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
