Job OverviewA law firm seeks a corporate associate to join its private equity and mergers and acquisitions group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
Duties
Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in leveraged buyouts.
Handle sell-side transactions and growth equity investments.
Manage minority investments and related strategic transactions.
Requirements
Minimum of three years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience.
Experience in the corporate department of a top-tier law firm preferred.
Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications
New York Bar admission.
Skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to manage complex transactions.
