Job description
Role Overview
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, interventional, mammography, bone density, or cardiac catheterization on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, perform studies independently, including portable and on‑call exams, ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
Conduct imaging studies independently and in various settings.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in a related field.
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
Licenses such as IEMA for Illinois, and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are preferred.
Experience & Skills
No experience required; entry-level candidates are welcome.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience and additional certifications such as CPR and intravenous therapy.
Ability to work rotating shifts and perform procedures across multiple advanced imaging modalities.
