About Blue Rose Consulting Group Inc.

At Blue Rose Consulting Group , our mission is simple: People First. Mission Always.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and SBA-Certified HUBZone company, we deliver innovative solutions and exceptional talent to federal agencies nationwide. We specialize in healthcare, behavioral health, technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, program management, and professional services, helping our clients solve complex challenges while making a meaningful impact.

What sets Blue Rose apart is our people. We foster a collaborative, mission-driven environment where professionals can do meaningful work, grow their careers, and make a difference in the communities and programs they support.

About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced PRN Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to support a federal behavioral health program in El Centro, California .

This is an onsite, as-needed leadership opportunity for an experienced clinician who can provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents while bringing clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the team.

Looking for the flexibility of PRN work while continuing to lead? Whether you're balancing a private practice, consulting, teaching, transitioning toward retirement, or simply prefer a flexible schedule, this opportunity allows you to put your clinical and leadership experience to work when additional program coverage is needed.

Already in Southern California? We'd love to hear from you.

Not local? We're also interested in qualified clinicians who are willing and able to travel to El Centro when PRN coverage opportunities arise.

And because California licensure is not required , clinicians with an active, unrestricted, independent license in another U.S. state or territory may be eligible.

Key Responsibilities

The PRN Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist will:

Provide clinical leadership, guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support to behavioral health team members during assigned coverage

Provide onsite behavioral health support to children and adolescents

Conduct behavioral health assessments, crisis interventions, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning as appropriate

Provide clinical consultation and guidance for complex cases

Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approaches to care

Support clinical quality, documentation, compliance, and continuity of services

Assist with onboarding, coaching, and clinical guidance for team members as needed

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, program leadership, and multidisciplinary partners

Provide leadership coverage during scheduled needs, call-outs, vacations, staffing shortages, or periods of increased program demand

Maintain a clinical caseload as appropriate while serving as the clinical lead during assigned coverage

Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy , or a related behavioral health field

Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory , including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or clinical management experience

Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or vulnerable populations

Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral health best practices, and clinical supervision

Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Ability to provide onsite PRN coverage in El Centro, California

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, and/or child welfare

Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams

Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health environments

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Experience supporting federal or government-funded behavioral health programs

Flexible availability to support varying program needs

Why Join Our PRN Team?

$90/hour

Flexible, as-needed PRN opportunities

Local and Southern California clinicians strongly encouraged to apply

Travel-ready clinicians outside the area are also welcome

Lead-level opportunity without a full-time commitment

Opportunity to use your clinical experience to mentor and support other behavioral health professionals

Meaningful work supporting children and adolescents within a federal behavioral health program

Opportunity to stay connected with Blue Rose for future behavioral health programs and assignments

Bring Your License to Southern California

Whether you're a Southern California clinician looking to add flexible PRN leadership work or an experienced clinician elsewhere who is open to traveling when coverage opportunities arise, we'd like to connect.

You have already put in the work to earn your independent clinical license. You do not need to start over in California to be considered.
