Now Hiring – Pharmacist PRN
Hours
anticipated 1-8 hour shift per week, between M-F 9a-5pCST
Location
Onsite in our Minnetonka, MN facility

We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging.
Reviews medication orders and evaluate their appropriateness and completeness.
Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach.
Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing.
Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
All other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.
Must possess a MN State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License.
Order Entry experience is required.
Experience supervising pharmacy techs
Minimal typing speed of 40WPM preferred.
Medical Records experience preferred.
Experience with FrameworkLTC preferred.
Positive personality who can work well within a team.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy.
