EMPLOYMENT TYPE (PRN / Contract / Part-Time / Full-Time)
PAY ($18-$26) Based on experience

Pulse Staffing is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist for an opportunity with one of our healthcare clients in Sugarland!
This is a great opportunity for a phlebotomist in a fast-paced medical laboratory who is looking for (consistent hours / flexibility / supplemental income)
About the Assignment
You'll be supporting patients in laboratory setting coming in for blood draws and working alongside patients services group leads and laboratory staff.
• Schedule: (Monday-Friday)
• Hours: (6-3pm)
• Setting: (Outpatient Service Center)
• Assignment Length: 3-6 Months
What You'll Be Doing
• Perform approved specimen collection
•• Verify patient identify.
• Review laboratory orders and follow appropriate specimen collection
• Properly label, document, handle, package, and transport specimens.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
What We're Looking For
Required:
• (Highschool diploma or GED)
• (Current national Phlebotomy certification ( ASCP, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or equivalent.)
• Current BLS/CPR certification, if applicable
• Ability to meet client-specific credentialing requirements
• Reliable attendance and professional communication
Preferred:
• (2 yrs of clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.)
• (EMR/system experience)
