About This Role
The PRN RN position in Acute Care Neurology and Cardiac Telemetry at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital involves delivering exceptional nursing care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
BSN preferred
Experience:
2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
Less than 2 years of experience for internal applicants, with post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered
Licenses & Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
