Job description
The RN in the Urology Medical Surgical unit at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides direct nursing care to patients recovering from complex surgical procedures. Department/Unit: Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit
Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience: 2 years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval
Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or American Red Cross
