About This Role
The PRN RN in Pre-Op/PACU at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital provides essential nursing care for patients in the pre- and post-anesthesia care units. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible, per-diem work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Complete nursing assessments.
Obtain vital signs.
Insert IVs.
Administer medications.
Requirements
Education
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience
2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external candidates
Internal candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered with CNO level review and approval
Licenses & Certifications
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
