Job description

Process AttendantWe are looking for a Process Attendant to join our Newberry, FL plant. As a Process Attendant with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will support plant operations by performing equipment inspections, completing routine cleaning, and operating heavy equipment.Why apply?Competitive wages.Opportunities for overtime.Company provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.Responsibilities:Perform daily equipment inspections, complete inspection sheets, and report or correct issues.Operate heavy mobile equipment (loaders, skid steers, forklifts).Communicate with the Control Room Operator to help resolve plant issues.Taking accurate and reliable silo measurements as required.Cleaning of the preheater in a safe manner when required. This involves working in extreme temperatures, wearing heavy insulated clothing and heavy lifting of water blaster.We Require:A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shiftsAbout UsEach day brings new challenges, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
