Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Fayetteville, TN to find a Process Engineer.
About the Role:
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk engineering job. You’ll own processes on the plant floor, run point with customers on technical projects, and work with development and validation teams around the globe. What you'll do
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, and drive continuous improvement on existing processes
Lead new product and process development from concept through launch
Design experiments that sharpen the balance between process parameters, quality, and cost
Use statistical methods to forecast manufacturing needs, cut cycle times, and identify improvement opportunities
Serve as the technical lead between customers and global development/validation teams
Build project plans, define product application and performance requirements, and keep customer projects on track
Create clear, accurate technical documentation for internal teams and customers
Partner with management and cross-functional teams to keep production efficient
Travel domestically and internationally as needed
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2+ years in wire drawing or comparable metals processing
Strong grasp of electrical, mechanical, and chemical processes
A self-starter who prioritizes well, sweats the details, and doesn’t need hand-holding
Solid project management skills (PMP preferred)
Lean Six Sigma experience (Black Belt preferred)
ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949 experience preferred
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and standard business software
The interpersonal skills to work well with cross-functional teams and customers
