Process Mold Technician 2nd ShiftHot Job2200 SR 240 EAST - GREENCASTLE, IN 46135OverviewSalary Range $19.00 - $20.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage NoneDescriptionResponsible for press set ups, maintenance of injections processes to meet standard cycle times and quality requirements.Job duties include, but not limited to:Follow all Environmental and Safety RulesRead and follow Standard Work InstructionsInstall dies on machine according to work instructionsAssist in modification of existing proceduresResponsible for molding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the molding processPerform mold changesOperate forkliftUse a crane hoist to perform mold changes and maintenance of molding machinesProcess molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimize cycle timesUse troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable molding processesRespond to machine alarms in a timely mannerResponsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds, and toolingMaintain a clean work areaOther duties as assigned.QualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not requiredA minimum of 6 months' experience of in injection molding is requiredPhysical requirementsGood hand/eye dexterity and ability to cross-trainAbility to lift up to 50 lbsConstant standing and walking for extended periodsStrong attention to detailPerform repetitive motion activitiesAbility to visually inspect products to quality speculationAbility to read, interpret and follow written work instructions
