Job description
Set-up TechnicianThe Set-up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00amDuties and Responsibilities:Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operationsMake professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associatesResponsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employeesRelay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal formsDocumentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performedOrganizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a wholeOther duties and projects, as required by production and business needEducation, Skills, and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required6+ months of injection molding experiencePrevious manufacturing experienceSuccessful completion of Mechanical Aptitude testEstablished ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutionsGreat attention to detail is requiredAbility to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essentialAbove average basic math skills and reasoning abilityModerate computer and Microsoft Office skillsForklift certificationMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
