Process Technician IIITekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Process Technician III to work on-site with our client in Fairport, NY.Purpose of Position:In this role, you will support and promote Contamination Control at the Fairport - NY Plant by monitoring existing clean spaces, supporting production to prevent/minimize/reduce contamination, identifying potential continuous improvements and maintaining the documentation and equipment required for contamination control.Major Responsibilities:Performing the following activities at scheduled intervals in/on designated areas/equipment, and recording results/filing reports in designated repositories:Various sampling per documented procedures (includes airborne/surface particulates, airborne & surface organic/inorganic contamination, ultrapure water contamination, etc) including ordering of exposure kits and coordination of locations for samplingInspection, cleaning and testing of ionizing guns/barsMonitoring of the power and frequency of ultrasonic/megasonic unitsCertification of clean benches, clean enclosures, etc as neededMaintenance of contamination control documentationAssisting with coordination of calibration of all instrumentation used in the above activitiesSupporting all clean rooms/clean spaces including garment supply/rotationCleanroom protocol auditsCommunicate any non-conforming activities/conditions to the Contamination Control engineerRequired Qualifications/Education:We require an AS or AAS in an applicable fieldAdept in basic skills of Microsoft Office: Outlook (email), Excel (general data collection, interpretation, graphing), Word, PowerpointFundamental knowledge and skills with standard electronic equipment and general troubleshootingSoft Skills:Attention to detail; good observation and recording skillsConcise and accurate communication & documentation skillsDiligent, conscientious following of work instructions/protocolsProactive; self-starterConsistent, positive can-do attitudeGood problem-solving skillsStandout colleague; team playerNice to have:Experience with cleanroom protocols (especially with respect to semiconductors)Experience with monitoring processesTekberry, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
