Job description
Process TechnicianProcess Technicians at Monoflo are responsible for our injection molding machines, automation cells, robots, and auxiliary equipment. Our Process Technicians complete start up and shut down procedures, monitor machines' performance and parameters, and validate that only the highest quality parts are produced.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform proper start up, restart, shut down, and continuous monitoring of injection molding machines: 180T to 3200T Krauss-Maffei, Engel, JSWOptimize process run specifications, documenting adjustmentsOperate automation cells and secondary operation equipment: vibration welder, hot plate welder, Fanuc robots, assembly equipmentCreate robot programs used to pick parts from molding machine: Wittmann, Krauss-MaffeiAudit process parameters and auxiliary equipment, identifying inconsistencies and defects with resolutionConduct quality audits to validate high-quality finished goods are producedComplete the First Article Verification sign off during new work order start upComplete all required process documentation and system auditsPerform material and color changesMinimum Qualifications5 years' experience as a Process Technician in the injection molding industryExperience with robot programs and part pickingExperience injection mold functions: hot runners, cores, pneumatic gatesExperience navigating injection molding machine controls and parametersExperience with automation systems and secondary operations is preferredHighly responsible and reliableFlexible and adaptable to changing environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities in the scheduleDemonstrates problem solving skills with the focus on root cause analysisComprehensive Benefits & Perks:Financial Wellness : 401(k) retirement plan with company match and annual/quarterly bonus opportunities.Health Coverage : Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Security : Short-term and long-term disability insurance.Optional Extras : Employee-paid voluntary life insurance and supplemental benefits.Time Off : Competitive PTO, paid holidays, and a company-paid Christmas shutdown.Unique Perks : Raffles for concerts, sports, and entertainment tickets.Locally sourced prize raffles.Monthly happy hours to unwind and connect with the team.Monoflo International, Inc. stands as a prominent provider of innovative and eco-friendly business-to-business reusable packaging solutions.
