Job description
Process TechnicianChange the world. Love your job. As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:High School diploma/GED18 years of age or olderAbility to work 12 hour compressed work scheduleFlexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidaysOne of the following: Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related field3 years of experience processing wafers in an advanced production role in a semiconductor environmentPreferred qualifications:Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performanceGood troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systemsExcellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbility to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipAbout UsWhy TI?Engineer your future.
