Process TechnicianExpress Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Process Technicians for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer in Valdosta, Ga. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive plastics manufacturing experience who excel at troubleshooting processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining high quality production standards.The successful candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStart up, monitor, and optimize production equipmentTroubleshoot machine, process, material, and quality issuesPerform process adjustments to improve efficiency and product qualityConduct test runs and verify machine performanceSupport machine changeovers and insert changesCollaborate with operators, material handlers, maintenance personnel, and supervisorsIdentify equipment issues and recommend repairs or replacement partsAssist with reducing downtime, scrap, and production bottlenecksMaintain accurate records of machine performance and process adjustmentsEnsure compliance with all safety and quality standardsSchedule & PayPay: Starting at $25.00/hour, based on experienceSign-On Bonus: $5,000Employment Type: Direct HireRelocation assistance availableQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of plastics manufacturing experiencePrevious experience as a Process Technician, Molding Technician, Setup Technician, or similar roleExperience troubleshooting molding machines and manufacturing processesStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of machine startup procedures, process adjustments, and production optimizationExperience identifying and resolving quality concernsWorking knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsLockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience preferredAbility to work independently and effectively within a team environmentStrong communication and leadership skillsAdaptable, coachable, and willing to learn new processes and technologiesDemonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbingAbility to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment components weighing up to 40 poundsAbility to work safely around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipmentBenefitsComprehensive benefits packagePaid time off and holiday payRelocation assistance availableCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesStable, long-term employment with an industry-leading manufacturer$5,000 sign-on bonusWhy Work With Express?Express Employment Professionals connects qualified candidates with top employers throughout South Georgia.
