Our products include Gardettos, Bugles, Chex Mix, and Muddy Buddys.$28.78 per hour starting payPay for skill program for higher pay rates up to $33.95 per hour15 days (120 hours) of vacation annually11 paid holidays401(k) with company matchHealth Insurance includes medical, dental, and lifeGreat paid time off benefits and much more!Current Shift Openings:2nd Shift (8 Hours, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)12-Hour Night Crew (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)Schedule Patterns:8 Hour Shifts run on a 12-2 schedule - Work for 12 days in a row and then have 2 days off, 2 days off will be every other weekend12 Hour Shifts run on a 2-2-3 schedule - 2-2-3 Schedule – on-shift for 2 days, off-shift for 2 days, on-shift 3 for days, etc.All Shifts Require:The ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysPlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days per weekOvertime: Every other weekend, with potential for up to 4 additional hours before or after your scheduled shift.Plant Operations: Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.As part of our manufacturing team, you will:Create high-quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDEUse TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facilityWork with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing itCHALLENGE yourself to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunityPerform, audit, and/or collect the cells HACCP checks and documentation.Report all deviations to QRO immediatelyCalibrate processing system daily to meet the required specifications established in the products standard of identity (SOI).Work closely with QRO to maintain established SOI standardsFormulate correct slurry mixes for each product with emphasis on GMP'sOperate processing equipment to produce the correct quantities of each product to meet the requirements of the packaging departmentOperate tote dumper, fryer and seasoning adjust as necessaryObserve and control the delivery of product via the product delivery system to the packaging areaPerform test on product to include breakage, salt, fat, and product densityPerform proper level of sanitation as required and described in the Processing SSOP's and assist setting up equipment for packaging lineMust be able to start up the system from a cold start, monitor and control a running system, plan a shutdown to run out all ingredients, and perform a clean-up to sanitary specificationsCorrect problems with the AS/RS system and processing equipment as quickly as possible to reduce downtime on the processing lineEmpty oil; fine catch pans and trash dumpsters as needed. Sweep and wash the production floor as needed to minimize injuries and maintain a sanitized work areaConduct equipment cleaning with knowledge of the CIP system, use of chemicals and foamers and other related cleaning equipmentAdditional duties may be assigned by your Team LeaderMaintain forklift Certification in current status with good safety record and successful completion of all initial and recertification testingHigh school diploma or GED2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment - PPE) such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves (when required)Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environmentExperience in a manufacturing/production environmentApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
