Sterile Processing TechnicianKettering Health Dayton | Dayton | Full-Time | 2nd ShiftPreferred QualificationsCompletion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician training programTwo or more years of experience in sterile processing, preferably in a hospital or surgical settingAdditional certifications such as Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Surgical TechnologistResponsibilities & RequirementsThe Processing Tech II plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety and positive surgical outcomes by performing advanced decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This position supports operational reliability and regulatory compliance through adherence to infection control standards and accurate documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or GED.Minimum of one year of experience in sterile processing or a related fieldCertification as a Sterile Processing Technician (e.g., Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT))
