Job description
Warehouse ProcessorImmediate opening – max pay rate: ***/hr. Shift hours Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, dependent on workload). On rare occasions, the shift may extend to 8:00 PM.Work environment: The work area is cold and wet, with temperatures consistently ranging from 34°F to 40°F throughout the year. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and willing to learn to operate an electric pallet jack. Steel, safety, or composite slip- and water-resistant boots are required.Qualifications:One year of warehouse experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishBasic arithmetic skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand for extended periodsAbility to work safely with sharp instrumentsKnowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility is helpfulResponsibilities:Efficiently process fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging vegetables and other food products for next-day deliveryProcess fresh cut items and produce according to orders entered into the systemPackage items and prepare them for shipment to ensure timely deliveryMaintain product quality standardsFollow all safety rules and regulationsFulfill additional requests or instructions from the manager or supervisor
