Job Posting**THIS RECRUITMENT IS TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR ANY SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS AND/OR FUTURE VACANCIES THAT OPEN DURING THE NEXT SIX MONTHS.** PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time ONLY position that works Monday - Friday. There will be mandatory testing for this position.**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, EVERYTHING LISTED BELOW IS REQUIRED TO APPLY** REQUIRED ON APPLICATION: 1. Complete EDJOIN Application Required: All fields must be entirely filled out, including work history. If you lack paid employment history, you must list your volunteer experience in the job history section. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified. 2. High School Diploma or equivalent. 3. One (1) year experience working with students or any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties. (MUST show on application) 4. Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training* *can upload proof of registration (i.e. a receipt or confirmation email) in an upcoming, in-person CPR/First Aid class in lieu of card **Submitting documents that appear to be altered, falsified, or manipulated may disqualify applicants from the current recruitment and from future employment opportunities with AVUSD.A completed application and all required documentation MUST be submitted in order to be considered and to move forward in the hiring process. *Employees selected to move forward must have an evaluation in good standing and not be currently under any disciplinary action.
