BUYER / PROCUREMENT ENGINEER – MISSION-CRITICAL CONSTRUCTION

I'm currently recruiting for mid-level to senior Buyers and Procurement Engineers with strong experience purchasing electrical, mechanical, or construction-related materials and equipment.

This is an opportunity to join an organization involved in large-scale, mission-critical construction and infrastructure projects, including data centers, hospitals, airports, manufacturing facilities, and other complex facilities.

What They're Looking For

8+ years of hands-on purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience

Experience purchasing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction materials/equipment

Background with an electrical/mechanical contractor, construction company, manufacturer, distributor, or major infrastructure organization

Experience working directly with suppliers, manufacturers, vendors, and project teams

Strong understanding of pricing, lead times, sourcing, supplier management, and project material requirements

Engineering or Supply Chain degree preferred

Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering background is a plus

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to project requirements

Ideal Backgrounds

Candidates with experience in environments such as:

Electrical or mechanical contracting

Mission-critical/data center construction

Electrical distribution or manufacturing

Large-scale commercial construction

EPC/project procurement

Industrial construction or manufacturing

Facilities engineering and operations

This is a hands-on project procurement role, so candidates should have direct experience buying the materials and equipment required to support construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facility projects.
