Job Title: Global Procurement Specialist / Senior Buyer
Location: Charlotte, NC / West Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ months
GLOBAL PROCUREMENT / SENIOR BUYER
Profile to Hunt: Hands-on Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist / P2P Analyst who has personally executed purchasing transactions in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing .
MANDATORY
- 3+ years of hands-on Purchasing/Procurement experience
- SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing – strongest requirement
- Creating/processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
- Purchase Order creation/processing/modifications
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P): PR → PO → Invoice → Payment
- Experience resolving purchasing/transaction issues
- Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving
STRONG PLUS / FLEX
- Financial Services/Banking procurement
- HR procurement
- Learning & Development procurement
- IT Software/Hardware procurement
- Experience working across Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Enablement, Third-Party, AP and Tax
- Other enterprise procurement/P2P systems
Ideal profile: Senior Buyer + Ariba Buying & Invoicing + PR/PO execution + end-to-end P2P + strong troubleshooting/problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Function: Global Procurement/purchasing.
Heavy focus on executing purchase orders .
Strong experience with Ariba , particularly Ariba Buying & Invoicing .
Must understand purchasing/procurement processes and the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle .

The group previously used Operational Accountant 2 for similar work, but Steve was trying to get the roles titled/scoped more appropriately , which is also why pricing/discount levels were still being worked through.
Focus: Procurement + Purchasing + Purchase Orders + Ariba Buying & Invoicing + P2P.
