Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing and administrative activities. The primary focus of this role will be processing purchase orders and change orders, maintaining accurate procurement documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Key Responsibilities
Create and process purchase orders, ensuring alignment with approved quotes, budgets, and procurement requirements.
Process change orders related to scope, cost, and schedule adjustments.
Obtain required approvals and maintain complete supporting documentation and revision histories.
Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements, specifications, and timelines.
Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) and coordinate supplier communications and deadlines.
Organize supplier proposals and assist with basic commercial comparisons.
Maintain accurate records for quotes, purchase orders, change orders, contracts, amendments, and renewals.
Assist with general procurement and administrative tasks.
Help resolve purchasing, documentation, and supplier-related issues.
Maintain professional and productive relationships with vendors and internal business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience processing purchase orders and change orders.
Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or contract-administration processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.
Ability to work collaboratively while handling assigned responsibilities independently.
