Produce Stocker/Cashier – Part TimePeople's Food Co-op is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a part-time Produce Stocker/Cashier. This position works in both our Produce Department and at the register, helping keep our produce displays stocked and inviting while providing friendly, helpful service to our customers.Pay: $15.00 per hour Status: Part-timeWhat You'll DoStock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displaysCheck produce for quality and freshnessKeep the Produce Department clean, organized, and well stockedAssist customers with questions and help them find productsOperate the cash register accurately and efficientlyProvide friendly and welcoming customer serviceBag purchases and assist customers as neededHelp maintain a clean and organized storeWork cooperatively with other staff and departmentsWhat We're Looking ForDependable and able to work as part of a teamFriendly and comfortable working with the publicAble to provide helpful, respectful customer serviceAble to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environmentComfortable standing for extended periods and performing the physical tasks associated with stockingPrevious retail, grocery, produce, or cashier experience is helpful, but not required
