Job description
Product Builder 3Pay Range: $19.15hr - $24.15hrRequirement/Must Have:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrates and has mastered all skills associated with Product Builder 3 role for a minimum of six months or has 4-6 years prior related experience.Demonstrates ability to be cross-trained and demonstrates good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements.Must have good working knowledge of MP’s and WI’s in their training plans.Ability to use computers at a proficient level as needed for confirmations, issuing materials, and printing labels.Ability to use microscope and other hand-held tools as required.Demonstrates advanced knowledge of product assembly, quality requirements, documentation practices, and manufacturing processes.Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, support daily production execution, and effectively partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures.Perform multiple operations of a more complex nature on a functional area, such as assembly, inspection of in-process units and assemblies, material documentation, handling, and control.Demonstrate initiative and maintain updated individual training records.Demonstrate and apply a solid understanding of how to use measuring instruments.Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics in relation to daily tasks.Participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.Support daily production execution by reviewing attendance, staffing coverage, and production priorities, communicating potential gaps or risks to supervisors.Serve as a designated floor support resource by coordinating communication between product builders and supervisors to ensure alignment on priorities, expectations, and issue resolution.Monitor production flow throughout the day, maintain hourly performance tracking, and communicate concerns impacting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity.Reinforce compliance with quality system requirements, documentation standards, and approved procedures; escalate deviations and compliance concerns as appropriate.Support safety initiatives by identifying workplace hazards, participating in safety audits and ergonomic assessments, and promoting safe work practices.Work flexible and/or extended hours and rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as overtime is required.Skills:Assembly.Inspection.Material Documentation.Measuring Instruments.Computer Proficiency.Core 5 Metrics.Process Improvement.Microscope Usage.Hand-held Tools.Component Identification.Quality Compliance.Qualification And Education:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Ability to work in a team environment.Technical expertise in manufacturing processes.Problem solving and influence without direct authority.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for prolonged periods.Ability to sit.Ability to walk.Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Ability to use fingers or hands to manipulate and assemble moderately to small size tools or objects.Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.Ability to use protective clothing and safety equipment such as safety glasses and respirators.Ability to use a microscope during an entire shift.
