Base Salary Range $175-185K, DOE + 15% Bonus
Houston, TX 77041
Up to 10% travel may be needed
SUMMARY:
The Product Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s hydraulic fracturing software product suite by identifying and capitalizing on new Oil & Gas technology product opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Product Development – work with customer to capture & define user requirements, prioritizing features to achieve a balance between innovation, usability, and technical feasibility.
Enhance existing products through continuous improvement and innovation.
Participate in UAT to ensure the final product reflects planned features and functions.
Help in the discovery and conceptualization of software products and solutions tailored to the oil and gas industry.
Communicate a clear and compelling product vision.
Navigate customer interaction & feedback.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Engineering field.
Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry (9+ years), including some field engineering or similar experience
3-5 years of Product Development/Product Owner experience within the Oil and Gas technology sector, specifically Oilfield Services
Related AND recent experience (within last 5 years) in fracturing and fracturing software is required
Must have a solid understanding of fracking operations and the end-to-end fracturing process
Strong portfolio of successful product launches.
Proven hands-on experience in user training, support, product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Ability to identify tools and techniques that can add to efficiency in prototyping, creating mockups, and capturing user requirements.
Strong command of current technologies, learning/exploring new tech, and applying those to product development.
Exposure/understanding of Agile/SCRUM, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a Microsoft DevOps environment is preferred.
