Job Description
As the Product Director, with the Forecast Automation and Engineering team, you will leverage your techno-functional expertise to design and implement forecasting models that meet business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret forecasting processes to design optimized solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and model enhancements(e.g., connecting upstream/downstream calculators, streamlining code base).
Collaborate with tech teams, functional partners (P&A, Controllers, Risk), line-of-business partners (Firmwide, Commercial & Investment Bank) and internal stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.
Develop and manage a scorecard of metrics to track success in a multi-dimensional way (e.g., time saved, data pipelines automated, control checks enabled).
Deliver on AI agenda (e.g., agentic solutions that automate forecasting-related activities, AI development for discovery)
Articulate aproduct vision and strategy to guide development efforts.
Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding models ontocloud-based architecture (e.g., Databricks).
Leverage JIRA and JIRA Align to align stories, epics, and initiatives to the product roadmap.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in product management with a focus on data-driven solutions.
Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Python coding.
Experience in developing and executing forecasting models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop comprehensive product roadmaps.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Background in retail banking products.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud solutions.
Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment.
