Protein Processing ProfessionalOur client, a recognized leader in the manufacture of food processing equipment is seeking an experienced Protein Processing Professional. They are an innovative leader within the protein processing industry, with manufacturing facilities in Chicago and Iowa.Their parent company has been recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Small Companies in 2010 and one of the world's Best Employers in 2021.PurposeThe role of the PATS Rep is to ensure customer satisfaction with capital equipment with regard to their specific formulations and processing procedures as well as develop and demonstrate processing techniques to new and potential customers.Responsibilities• Prepare economic justifications for capital equipment as it pertains to particular formulations and potential customers• Prepare and present Technical Demonstrations and presentations at industry trade shows, Parent Company Innovation centers, or customer locations as well as present short courses on relevant material.• Partner with other company departments to help design and/or modify product lines.• Provide assistance to technical sales team and international sales network.Requirements• 2 to 5 years of experience in food process design, preferably supporting protein processing• Related degree in food science, food/protein processing, or related discipline desired.• Travel up to 85% of the time including some weekends, Domestic and International• Must have a valid driver's license, credit card, valid and Current U.S. passportAs part of a very competitive compensation package, they offer a complete line of benefits that include :• Medical• Dental• Vision• Life insurance• L/ST disability programs• 401(k) Profit Sharing PlanAdditional supplemental programs
