Machine OperatorPay Rate: $23.40 + shift premiumsSign on Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 monthsCategory/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Monday-Friday / Some Saturdays2nd shift 3pm - 11pm3rd shift 11pm - 7amPhysical Location: International Paper3461 Wall Triana Blvd SWHuntsville, AL 35824The Job You Will Perform:We are looking for machine operators who have the abilities and aptitude to progress within the company - we promote from within our organizationVerify product meets quality standards by visual inspection as well as using a tape measure to verify size of product within a 16th of an inchVerify material is correctly stacked, wrapped with dunnage, banded and tagged for shippingPerform housekeeping and machine cleaning as requiredAbility to properly communicate with teammates, maintenance and management on machine performance or other concernsThis job requires physical exertion in a heavy, industrial environment (examples include standing, reaching, twisting, exposure to extreme temperatures/ weather conditions, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds)Basic Requirements:Must know how to properly read a tape measureHigh School Education or equivalent work experience1-3 Years' experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment preferredMust be able to work standing for full shift and sometimes walking on a roller systemMust be able to work any shift - currently hiring for 2nd shiftIndividuals must be willing to work overtime and as required weekendsApplicants will be required to pass pre-employment skills testing, post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
