Production AssemblerPay: $19–$21/hour Shifts: All Shifts AvailablePosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Production Assembler to complete mechanical assemblies accurately, safely, and efficiently in a production environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, reading assembly drawings, and working with precise measurements and tolerances.ResponsibilitiesComplete assemblies within established production goalsRead and follow drawings, assembly prints, standards, lists, and chartsUse hand tools, power tools, saws, and measuring equipment safelyTake accurate measurements and maintain required tolerancesMake basic mechanical modifications as neededAssist crane operators when requiredFollow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditionsQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of production/manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read blueprints, assembly drawings, shop orders, and packing listsExperience using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and similar toolsBasic understanding of fractions, decimals, and measurementsAbility to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Equal Opportunity Employer: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
