Production AssemblerWe are currently seeking motivated Production Assemblers to hire in the Clifton Park, NY area. The ideal candidate will have prior assembly, manufacturing, or production experience and/or the willingness to learn. This position is responsible for assembling industrial LED lighting fixtures and components while maintaining quality and production standards.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19-$20 per hourBenefits for Production Assembler:Cross-training opportunitiesVariety of workstations and tasksTeam-oriented work environmentLong-term growth opportunitiesBenefits offered once hired on by the companyTasks for Production Assembler:Assemble industrial LED lighting fixtures and componentsBuild and install wire harnesses and electrical connectionsPerform quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet specificationsMeet production goals while maintaining quality standardsAccurately assemble products with minimal errors or reworkAssist at multiple assembly stations as neededPackage and label finished productsQualifications for Production Assembler:No experience required – willing to trainLight assembly experience preferredManufacturing or production experience helpfulExperience with wire harnesses, electrical components, or electronics assembly is a plusAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic mechanical aptitudeManual dexterity and attention to detailReliable and dependable work ethicPositive attitude and willingness to learnHigh School Diploma or GED preferredWork Schedule for Production Assembler:Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMFriday: Overtime as neededSaturday: Overtime as needed10-hour shiftsPhysical Requirements:Frequent use of hands and fingers for small-part assemblyStanding for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move components and finished products up to 25-50 lbs.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityEquipment Used:Hand tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, etc.)Assembly fixtures and workstationsTesting equipment for lighting productsPackaging and labeling equipmentExpressProsCapitalRegion.comAt Express Employment Professionals, we will assess your skills, offer you interview and resume writing tips, and work with you to find a job that fits your needs and abilities.
