Job description

Production AssemblerThe Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products. Responsible for executing assembly tasks according to the work instructions, this role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.$17.00, plus $2.25/hour Shift DifferentialSet shift schedules: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (6:00am – 6:30pm)We work as a team, we respect one another, and value our differences.Here's what you'll do when you join our team:We have lots of different jobs that work together to make our awesome, great-looking, functional products.Bring a positive, can-do attitude, a commitment to quality, and we will train you!Core functions include:Follow established work instructions to properly assemble products and/or different parts of products.Achieve established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas.Operate required equipment per safety guidelinesComplete all required paperwork and/or data entry.May work at different workstations as production needs require.Attendance and dependability are essential job functions. Required to report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and requirements include:Education and experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.6 months of related experience and/or training preferred.Required licenses:None.Skills, abilities, and knowledge:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to perform basic math.Ability to read and interpret tape measurements accurately.Competencies:Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to other views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.Supervisor responsibilities:Individual contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.Physical requirements:This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical activities:This position is subject to the following physical activities: reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.Visual acuity:The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades' tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.Working conditions:The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.About RealTruck:RealTruck is the premier manufacturer and digital destination of accessories for truck, Jeep®, Bronco® and off-road enthusiasts around the world.
