From our West Chester, PA location we provide comprehensive pre-sale & post-sale support including, design, packaging, and service.Job Title: Production AssemblerDepartment: EPS ShopLocation: West Chester, PennsylvaniaReports To: Shop ManagerJob Overview:The Production Assembler plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately and efficiently assembling components to create finished pump skid packages that meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure that each product is built to specification and delivered on time. The assembler will collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth production flow and identify opportunities for process improvements.Our Most Successful Production Assemblers:Possess a high school diploma or equivalentHave a basic understanding of assembly processes and manufacturing operationsCan read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documentsHave the physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksDemonstrate strong attention to detail and manual dexterityHave previous production or assembly experienceAre familiar with quality control procedures and standardsDemonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power toolsHave experience working with threaded pipe and pipe-threading machinesHave MIG welding experience or an interest in learningHold certifications in workplace safety or manufacturing processesAre fork truck certifiedAre overhead crane certifiedHave knowledge of proper rigging practicesMust be able to pass background and reference checks; as well as a drug testScope of Responsibility:Assemble parts and components according to detailed instructions and blueprintsInspect assembled products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standardsOperate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectivelyPerforming Hydro/pneumatic testing after assemblyMaintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiencyReport any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptlyCollaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlinesFollow all safety guidelines and company policies consistentlyPerform all other duties as assignedCummins-Wagner Gives Back to Employees:Employee Stock Ownership ProgramBonus ProgramTuition and Certification Fee Assistance401k MatchFlexible Spending AccountComprehensive Health InsuranceLife InsuranceShort & Long-Term Disability InsuranceOur History:Founded in 1960 by "Charlie" Cummins and "Chub" Wagner, Cummins-Wagner began as a one-product, two-employee company in a one-room office.
