It's a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and a positive, low-drama workplace.Principle Responsibilities:Builds products to specificationFollow the direction of Cell/Line Leader and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for each taskFollow the direction of Supervisor/Scheduler, Cell/Line Leaders for what is worked on and whenUse the appropriate tool or tools for each jobConsult the appropriate BOM and on-line print before proceeding with each taskSolder, strip and crimp wires, pot (apply waterproofing materials), calibrate, and assemble as directedUse time wisely and move from task to task efficientlyConsult sufficient on-line and paper documentation to do accurate in-process inspections for self and othersTransitions from jobs within lines/cells and is able to perform duties in 2-3 lines/cellsCooperates in the overall task of getting products shipped on timeFollows Instructions for participation in monthly inventoryDepending on the area assigned, it is expected that during inventory the employee will accurately count parts, correctly document quantity counted, and may also audit counts of others or help scanning product.Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.RequirementsEducation Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):(R) High School Diploma or GED(P) Technical Certificate and 1-2 years of related experience, or 3-5 years' relatable experienceDegrees/Certificates preferred: Electronics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, IndustrialTraining, Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceSpecific Training in this field (R/Preferred):(P) Understanding of basic electronicsExperience/Knowledge in this field (R/Preferred):(P) Experience in soldering small partsGeneral Experiences/Knowledge/Skills:Monitor own work for qualityTake initiativeShow leadershipPositive attitude, cooperation and willingness to take direction and work with peopleExceptional communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully, culturally competent and collaborativelyExcellent Ability to communicate in verbal, written and electronic forms in a professional manner when working with employees, vendors and company contacts
