QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Assistant at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!Production Assistant Responsibilities:- Create and verify job travelers with accurate information, including bill of materials, routings, specifications, and special instructions- Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies- Collaborate closely with the Production Team and other departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control) to facilitate seamless coordination and communication throughout the production process- Accurately enter production data into the ERP system and generate reports as needed- Maintain accurate and organized production records, documentation, and files. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily available- Identify and escalate any production-related issues or challenges to the appropriate personnel for resolution- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and enhance efficiencyRequirements for Production Assistant:- High School Diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings is a plus- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)- Experience with inventory and ERP systems is an advantage- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively- Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting proceduresIND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
