Production Assistant I - Produce, Woodlake MarketWork Mode: OnsiteLocation: Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Production Assistant I is responsible for preparing, packaging, serving, and merchandising premium, freshly made products while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll work in a fast-paced, upscale environment where quality, cleanliness, and product expertise are essential. This role requires attention to detail, food safety awareness, product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers make informed choices.Specific ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and assist with product selection, portion recommendations, cooking or reheating tips, and slicing preferencesProvide knowledgeable recommendations on products, pairings, and preparation methodsWeigh, cut, trim, and package products to store standards and customer requests while using proper techniques and equipmentPrepare fresh foods according to store recipes and standardsEnsure all items are properly labeledMaintain attractive and well-stocked cases that reflect the store's premium imageRotate products to ensure freshness, quality and minimize wasteMaintain department organization standards in back stock areas and front of houseFollow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaMonitor product freshness and rotate stock to ensure qualityFollow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environmentWork closely with other departments to support cross-functional needs and smooth operationsWork in multiple food prep areas as neededWill complete all duties and requests as assigned by managementThis is a part-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:30 am and 9:00 pm.Skills/RequirementsMust be 16 years old or olderStrong customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to read and follow a recipeAbility to use knives safely and follow safety proceduresAbility to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of timeFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The hourly range for this position is $13.70 - $20.50.
