L&M Corrugated is seeking a Production Assistant to support the day-to-day needs of our production operation. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you'll help track performance, prepare production information, support purchasing and inventory needs, and keep important operational details moving. This is a hands-on support role for someone who is comfortable working with data, communicating across teams, and spending time both at a computer and on the production floor. Responsibilities include:Preparing production data and reports for Daily Huddle meetings and other operational needsUpdating daily machine and production metrics so teams have accurate, current performance informationMonitoring Kanban items and supply levels and helping improve replenishment processesPurchasing MRO and non-inventoried production items based on stock levels and operational needsReceiving, verifying, organizing, and stocking office, maintenance, and production suppliesCommunicating with suppliers regarding routine orders, delivery timing, availability, and discrepanciesSupporting the Plant Manager with data gathering, special reports, projects, and operational follow-upCoordinating information and follow-up across Production, Maintenance, and other departmentsMaintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and tracking tools used to support productionIdentifying opportunities to improve organization, inventory flow, reporting, and administrative processesManaging multiple priorities while providing timely, accurate, and professional supportPerforming other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college or technical education is a plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate information and follow-throughProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookComfort working with numbers, production data, reports, and tracking toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with production employees, leaders, office teams, and suppliersProactive, dependable approach with a willingness to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilitiesPrior manufacturing, production, inventory, purchasing, materials, or administrative support experience is preferredHelp Keep Production Moving At L&M Corrugated, the Production Assistant plays an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping our plant organized, informed, and ready to operate.
