We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job Description Pay Range: $17.25 - $23.00The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. Responsibilities Wear mandatory PPE (Safety Glasses, Ear plugs, Safety Composite or Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Vest, Hard Hat, Full-body Safety Harness)Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventoryMovement of carts in and out of production work areaLoading window sash components for processing insulated glass unitsAssembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unitScan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfactionAdhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the companyUtilize production reports to assist in production planningWork with and collaborate with "Picking Operator" throughout the assigned shiftIdentify safety hazards in the workplaceAssist with picking windows order picker equipment at elevated heights up to 20 feet from ground levelQualifications Qualifications Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32"Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAble to convert fractions to decimalsAbility to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructionsCapable of using computerized equipmentAbility to move carts in and out of production areas1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredFrequent exposure to loud noisesAdditional Information Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
