Cold Storage Production AssociateWithin the Mission and Strategic Plan established for Friendship Industries, Inc. and Able Solutions, Inc., the Cold Storage Production Associate is a core labor force to meet production needs. Cold Storage Production Associates must have a desire to learn and grow within the mission of our company.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Production work as assignedConsistently produce a product equal to, or better than, the expectations of our customers, per the quality and quantity guidelines established and communicated by Supervisor for each projectPerform all work in accordance with applicable safety and quality regulationsSuccessfully work as production labor within a team-based environmentFollow all policies and procedures established by Friendship Industries, Inc. and Able Solutions, Inc.Exhibits appropriate workplace behavior as defined in the handbookAbility to perform essential duties of the jobAbiding by attendance policyEssential Information and Functions:Reliable transportation requiredMust be able to work independently and as a productive team member, with minimal direction from Team Leaders or SupervisorsMust possess math and reading skills related to job dutiesMust be able to resolve conflict and demonstrate good work practice among team members independentlyMust maintain cleanliness of production line(s) as necessary using specified cleaner (i.e. prior to start, between jobs, on demand and end of day)Education/Experience Requirement:No minimum education or work experience requiredEssential Skillset:Ability to work in a professional manner at all timesAbility to cultivate positive working relationshipsDemonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred Skillset:Experience working or volunteering with at risk/vulnerable adultsTwo years minimum of practical machine operating experience in a production environmentGeneral knowledge and competence in Quality Assurance, GMP, Lean and ISOEnvironmental Exposure:Refrigerated Warehouse Packaging EnvironmentPhysical Requirements:Must wear and use safety and protective equipmentMust be able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted and consistently throughout the shiftMust be able to bend, twist, reach, and sit throughout the shiftReports to: Team Leader and/or Production SupervisorJob Type: Full-timePay: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceOpportunities for advancementPaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:12 hour shift4x10Day shiftMonday to FridayMorning shiftOvertimePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
