Job description
Production AssociateNesco Resource in Elizabethtown is seeking production associates. First shift hours are Mon-Fri 5:45am to 2:15 pm. Must have overtime availability. Job duties include:Operating molding machines and/or air-activated tools and equipment to assemble, decorate, or produce productsRetrieving, separating, inspecting, counting, weighing, packing, and labeling parts according to written and/or oral instructionsUtilizing clippers, knives, screwdrivers, and other simple hand tools to trim, cut, and prepare parts for other operations per safety proceduresMonitoring and reporting machine malfunctions and quality variances such as flash, splay, contamination, underfill, etc., to supervisionComparing, inspecting, and monitoring production quality against approved samples; accept, reject, or question deviations according to established standardsPerforming simple clerical tasks involving recording and summarizing production dataPerforming secondary operations such as examining, repairing, trimming, counting, and weighing parts as directedMaintaining production rate and standards by performing tasks efficiently and accuratelyMaintaining cleanliness of work station and area per 5S requirements through routine cleaning choresInterface with production monitoring systems to track production metrics and outputAssisting in color changes and mold changes by cleaning work area or equipment and setting up for the next job (e.g., sample board, Operator Instruction Sheet, packaging)Performing other tasks as directed by supervisor to support production goals and team objectivesQualifications include:Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferredAbility to stand for entire work shiftAbility to lift up to 30 poundsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
