Our commitment is to create a work environment where feeling valued, respected, and empowered is a daily experience.As a Production Technician, you will have key responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations either in the manufacturing, packaging, and/or product labeling areas. You will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. You will also check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances. You will provide support to an area, person, or program. Interface with internal customers. Perform semi-routine support duties of a specialized nature within an assigned area. You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Maintaining material/supply needs to support productionSetting up & operating equipment and processing materials & packaging kits in accordance with standard operating proceduresInspecting products and components to verify completeness of the final device and product information is precise and legible.Inspecting product for quality and adherence to specificationsEnsuring full compliance with both GMP and housekeeping standards within packaging areaParticipating in trouble-shooting and problem solving associated with packaging processCompleting and ensuring accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metricsPreparing work centers for appropriate line clearance procedure and conducting regular cleaning in accordance with standard operating proceduresMay train others in department as neededCompetencies:Ability to read and speak EnglishAbility to read and understand information and instructions on computersBasic math skillsAbility to work in a strong team working environmentAbility to learn multiple jobs and responsibilities, and adjust between them as neededAbility to work in a fast paced environmentRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalencyPreferred: 1 year of related experience in production or manufacturing assembly in a regulated industryAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionallyThorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISOAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsBasic computer skills with competency using standard software packagesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentThorough understanding of appropriate safety proceduresDetail orientedExperience in manufacturing or assembly preferredNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
