Production Associate – 2nd Shift (Entry Level, Growth Opportunity)This is a hands-on production role where you'll operate extrusion and related equipment, complete set-ups and changeovers, and support weigh-up and packaging. You'll work with a stable team, receive training, and help produce high-quality materials that meet customer specifications. If you have basic machine-operating experience and want a long-term role with real advancement potential, this is a strong fit.What You'll DoRun production lines safely and efficiently using established procedures.Perform set-ups and changeovers for different batches and products.Verify and weigh ingredients to match recipes and batch specs.Operate weigh-up and packaging equipment and check controls for safety and accuracy.Process and package materials to correct size, container, and customer requirements.Clean machines to maintain reliability and product quality.Complete documentation accurately and on time.Maintain a safe, organized work area and support continuous improvement.Lift and move materials as part of daily production tasks.What You Need6–12 months of machine-operation experience (extrusion, injection molding, or similar).Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.Ability to lift 55 lbs and occasionally up to 250 lbs with proper assistance.Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift.Attention to detail with recipes, measurements, and documentation.Strong safety mindset and reliability.Nice to HaveForklift experienceMixing, blending, or weigh-up experienceExperience with plastics or packaging equipmentInterest in learning new processes and growing into higher-level rolesWhy People Stay HereHigh retention — employees genuinely like the work and the team.Clear advancement path into lead and higher-level roles; promotions come from within.Competitive benefits: medical, dental, 401(k) match.Annual pay increases + profit sharing.Two weeks of vacation upon hire + 11 paid holidays.Consistent 2–3% yearly rate increases.Shift & Environment2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.Clean, organized production environment with extrusion and packaging equipment.Active, on-your-feet role with regular lifting and material handling.Safety-focused, structured workflow, and steady production pace.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
